The task ahead

Schoolzone has originally been built as a Change4life resources web site for primary schools.

​

Now PHE wants to update the website and host resources coming from a number of government campaigns, for both primary and secondary schools. 

​

The first campaign to be merged on the web site is Raise Above: mental health help for kids in secondary schools.

​

We studied how the brand and the architecture of the web site should change to accomodate this change of direction.

​

How to introduce teachers to the campaigns? We should test different approaches.

The decide to enhance the brand identity of SchoolZone

A quick tweak would have been to create a new Raise Above section, but it would have not been the best option from users prospective. 

Lot of effort has been put in prototyping a realist search engine for the tests.

Lesson learned

In each iteration we tweaked the prototype, keep learning each time from teachers behaviours.
